Juveniles committed 133 offenses in Kyrgyzstan in 2017

Bishkek, Jan. 23, 2018 / Kabar /. In 2017 juveniles committed 133 crimes of different nature, which is by 17 more than in 2016. This became known at the forum "Children are our future. No to extremism, terrorism and crime" in Bishkek.

In total, 1 thousand 124 minors were taken to police stations.

"Now a special flurry of crimes among minors in all schools of the republic. There is an increase in crimes and offenses related to minors: children run away from homes, they are in undesirable places. Among children who are in a difficult life situation, there are facts of drug use," Talant Imankadirov, a public security officer said.

In total, about 1 thousand schoolchildren take part in the forum, the purpose of the event is the prevention of crimes committed by minors and against them. The forum was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Mayor's Office of Bishkek, the judiciary, prosecutors, educational institutions.
