Jeenbekov leaves for Kazakhstan to attend first summit of Central Asian leaders

Bishkek, March 15, 2018. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov left today for Astana at the invitation of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to participate in the first consultation meeting of the Central Asia leaders, the Kyrgyz President's press service reported.

Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will take part in the meeting, who will make a joint statement on the results of the summit.

A bilateral meeting of Jeenbekov with Nazarbayev is planned. The two heads of state will discuss topical issues of Kyrgyz-Kazakh relations.
