Bishkek, March 15, 2018. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov has arrived today in Astana, Kazakhstan to participate in the first summit of Central Asian leaders.
Askar Zhumagaliyev, the Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan met Sooronbai Jeenbekov at the Astana International Airport, the Kyrgyz President's press service reported.
Jeenbekov will meet with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev as part of his participation in the summit. The two heads of state will discuss topical issues of Kyrgyz-Kazakh relations.
The Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will take part in the first summit of Central Asian leaders, following which a joint statement of the Heads of State is expected.
