Bishkek, Feb.8, 2018 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov told President Sooronbay Jeenbekov about the ongoing work on combating corruption. He reported about this at a meeting of the country's Security Council.
Isakov stressed that the Government is ready to make best efforts to eradicate corruption in the society.
"However we also need to work together to develop a system of preventing corruption practices," the Head of Government said.
He informed the President and the participants of the meeting that the process of transition to a digital form of work is being actively carried out in tax agencies of the country. In addition, the same reforms are implemented in the road supervision services.
"With the construction of the Smart City system, employees of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of Kyrgyzstan will follow high moral principles and become an example for society. Today, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance of the country, reforms are being carried out in the system of state procurements. I think that in near future all the reforms will be able to show relevant results," the Prime Minister said.
In addition, Isakov also talked about the work on the study of the procedure for carrying out weight and dimensional controls and laws. Work in this direction will start from customs service of the country.
"The customs service is also going through the digitalization process. During these works, we think that a number of vulnerable areas allowing corruption to exist in this sphere will be revealed," Isakov said.
The Head of Government stressed that all the ministries and departments of the republic are currently preparing for the unification of the digital government system, which will enable them to deal with corruption problems in a comprehensive manner.
