Isakov asks Indian Prime Minister to present one more radiotherapy unit

Bishkek, Feb. 26, 2018. / Kabar /. During the ceremony of receiving from the Indian side of Bhabhatron II, the radiation device for cancer patients in the National Center of Oncology, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov said that in Dubai he asked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to present one more gamma-therapeutic apparatus for the Osh oncological clinic.

"During my visit to Dubai, I met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I asked him to help to install one more Bhabhatron II in the Osh oncology clinic. We also plan to reconstruct that clinic," the prime minister said.

Isakov thanked the government of India for the provided equipment.

The premier added that the device was received as a result of the state visit of ex-president Almazbek Atambayev to India.

Bhabhatron II is a remote gamma therapeutic device intended for radiation therapy of malignant tumor.
