Bishkek, Feb. 13, 2018 / Kabar /. An interactive exhibition of contemporary art on human rights In Search of Law was opened in Bishkek.
The purpose of the exhibition is to convey the main message, to stop being a silent witness of ignoring and violating rights because we are all used to be silent if we face injustice.
Literally in the dark, in search of the right, visitors of the exhibition were invited to experience different stories expressed through the language of art / art objects; entering into a dialogue with the mind, immersing into a situation where the rights of other people were violated.
The exhibition is organized by OYOUM Group. The exhibition is organized within the framework of the project by the Institute for Youth Development Civic Education of Youth through the Elements of Culture and Art. The project is funded by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
The project is aimed at involving creative and initiative groups to promote the values of human rights and the principles of democracy among the youth of Chui oblast.
More than 25 representatives of creative and initiative groups participated in the project. They took training in human rights by international trainers. In total 12 initiatives aimed at promoting human rights were supported and implemented.
