Bishkek, Dec. 21, 2017 / Kabar /. Inter-ministerial Kyrgyz-Indian political consultations were held in New Delhi yesterday. Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister Nurlan Abdrakhmanov met with Indian Deputy Foreign Minister R. Ghanashiyam.
The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, specifically, the prospects for expanding cooperation in political, trade-economic, military-technical and cultural-humanitarian spheres, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry's press service reported.
The sides also stressed the need to deepen political contacts between the two countries by continuing exchanging mutual visits at the highest levels as well as expanding inter-parliamentary ties.
Kyrgyz and Indian deputy ministers also discussed in detail the issues of international and regional security, mechanisms for interaction within international organizations and exchanged views on topical international issues of mutual interest.
