Bishkek, March 15 / Kabar /. President of the Judo Federation of Kyrgyzstan Joldoshbek Kolbaev paid an official visit to Baku on March 9-12, where he met with president of the International Judo Federation Marius Wieser, as well as with the leadership of the Judo Federation of Azerbaijan.
The National Judo Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reports that, the sides discussed the issues of general development of the Judo Federation of Kyrgyzstan and the issues related to the preparation of Kyrgyzstan for the Asian Championship among cadets and youth in 2017.
Kolbayev said that in July the opening of the Judo House is planned in the Kyrgyz Republic and invited the president of the International Judo Federation to visit Kyrgyzstan.
In his turn Marius Wieser said that the Judo Federation of Kyrgyzstan is on the right way of development, and for such a short period made considerable progress. "We are very pleased that judo is one of the most popular sports in your republic, and I will definitely find the time and come to your country to the Asian Championship and to the opening ceremony of the Judo House in Bishkek. And I would like to invite your federation to select 6 members of judo teams and send them to IJF training centers in Budapest and Tashkent," he said.
