Honorary consulate of Kyrgyzstan opened in Sakhalin, Russia

Bishkek, Nov. 16, 2017 /Kabar/. The honorary consulate of Kyrgyzstan is opened in Sakhalin oblast of Russia. The consular district includes, in addition to Sakhalin, also Kamchatka. The consul is Vladimir Trofimov.

Unlike the "full" consulate, the honorary consulate cannot issue visas or passports, astv.ru reported.

There are nine honorary consulates of Kyrgyzstan has been operating in Russia. In the Far East, in addition to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, there is a consul in Khabarovsk.
