BISHKEK, Aug.9, 2017 /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev received Minister of Health of the country Talantbek Batyraliev, the president’s press service reports.
During the meeting, Minister Batyraliev informed President Atambayev about the ongoing reforms in the health care system and the measures taken to improve the quality of medical services provided to the population.
Talantbek Batyraliev also told the President about the progress of the public-private partnership project, which is designed to provide patients with access to high-quality dialysis services at affordable prices and will allow more budgetary funds to be used to pay for cardiosurgery, orthopedics and oncology services. The project will also cover a larger number of patients in the country and solve the problem of shortage of modern medical equipment.
Atambayev stressed that the ongoing reforms in the health sector should ensure all conditions for providing the population with more affordable and quality medical services, and also reflect on the development of the technical base of the health system in the interests of the citizens of the country.
