Bishkek, Jan. 17, 2018 / Kabar /. Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Talantbek Batyraliev met today with a delegation of members of the Parliament of Finland, the press service of the Health Ministry reported.
At the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of health.
Ville Skinnari, Social Democratic Parliamentary Group Member of Parliament of Finland, Chairman of the Central Asian Friendship Group, briefed about the development of health care sector in his country. "Currently the Government of Finland is working to develop various laws aimed to reform health care and
social policy. One of Finland's successful stories is protection of motherhood and childhood, where a specialized program on maternal and child health was developed in the seventies of last century. Every mother and child participate in specialized programs and receive free of charge medical services," Ville Skinnari said.
"Finland is constantly developing and actively helping health care of other countries. Support for the health sector, especially development of the first medical aid, is at a high level in your country. We would like to adopt your experience, which is an example for many countries,” Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Talantbek Batyraliev said.
The Kyrgyz health minister also expressed a desire to develop mutual cooperation, exchange of employees, to cooperate in the development of pharmaceuticals.
He also expressed readiness of the Kyrgyz side for bilateral cooperation in the field of health care.
