Bishkek, April 13 / Kabar /. A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and an informal meeting of heads of the Collective Security Treaty Organization member states will be held in Bishkek on April 14, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.
During the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the participants will discuss topical issues of economic interaction within the Union, as well as issues of international cooperation and further integration in the Eurasian space.
In addition, the heads of states will consider the appeal of the Republic of Moldova on granting it the status of an observer state in the Eurasian Economic Union.
The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held within the framework of the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union this year. At the suggestion of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev 2017 will be devoted to the creation of the best conditions for business development in the Eurasian space.
Presidents of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Moldova are expected to attend the meeting.
During the informal meeting of heads of the CSTO member states with the participation of Presidents of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan, the issues of further development of the organization, as well as the deepening of cooperation in the sphere of ensuring regional security will be discussed.
