Bishkek, Feb. 13 / Kabar /. Chairman of the State Registration Service of Kyrgyzstan Tayirbek Sarpashev asked the Prime Minister to temporarily relieve him from his post.
"In view of objective check of all the charges against me, I asked the Prime Minister to temporarily relieve me from the office," said Sarpashev at today’s press conference at Kabar Agency.
"I think the prime minister will meet my request. I believe that the Commission will prove my innocence," said Sarpashev.
Recall that the Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan demanded the resignation of Tayirbek Sarpashev in connection with the fact that the Bishkek State Registration Office registered the real estate of Maxim Bakiyev, which was under the arrest. Sarpashev denied this information.
An interdepartmental commission was set up to study the case.
