Bishkek, July 14 / Kabar /. At the initiative of the Indian side, a telephone conversation was held today between Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldayev and State Minister of Foreign Affairs of India Mushabar Javad Akbar, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the conversation, the topical issues of bilateral cooperation, the course of implementation of the agreements following the state visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic to India (December 2016), as well as interaction within the framework of international and regional organizations were discussed.
The sides stressed the importance of mutual focus on strengthening and developing traditionally friendly relations between the two countries and active cooperation in the implementation of forthcoming joint events.
The ministers agreed to maintain further close contacts on the most significant issues on the bilateral agenda.
