Bishkek, Feb. 16, 2018 / Kabar /. The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan exchanged with congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The congratulatory telegram of Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov says the following:
"Our countries have managed to achieve decisive results through joint efforts and breakthrough agreements in the development of bilateral relations over the past period.
Meetings and negotiations at the highest level are of particular importance, which over the past year have acquired a special confidential nature and created favorable conditions for deepening fruitful and constructive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
It is pleasant to stress the active cooperation of our countries in political, economic, transport-transit, interparliamentary, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as the resolution of cross-border issues."
Whereas, the congratulatory telegram of Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldayev says the following:
"2017 will remain in our memory as historical and very significant in Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations.
In this regard, it is very symbolic and gratifying to meet the anniversary date of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek cooperation in the spirit of good-neighborliness, mutual trust and the establishment of a strategic partnership between our countries.
I am sure that the positive political dialogue at all levels and the broad opportunities created in the field of trade, economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan will be strengthened and developed for the benefit of our states and people."
