Film based on Chyngyz Aitmatov’s story to be shown in Moscow

Bishkek, Jan. 16, 2018. / Kabar/. The State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow invites everyone to the display of the film "Heat" based on Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov's story "Camel Eye", which will take place in the framework of the 90th birthday of Aitmatov and the retrospective of Larisa Shepitko's films for the 80th birthday of the director.

According to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Russia, the display will be held in the gallery on Jan. 16, 2018, at 19.00.

Larisa Shepitko is a Soviet film director, screenwriter, actress. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. From 1961 to 1964, the director of the film studio "Kirghizfilm." The author of the films "Heat", "You and I", "Wings", "Motherland of electricity", "Ascent".

The first full-length film, the thesis "The Heat" (1963), was shot in Kyrgyzstan.

A number of events are held in Moscow on the eve of the 90th anniversary of classical writer Chyngyz Aitmatov.
