Council for Business and Entrepreneurship Development of Kyrgyzstan to meet in Bishkek

Bishkek, March 30 / Kabar /. The first meeting of the Council for Business and Entrepreneurship Development under the Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament will be held on March 31, the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh reports.

During the meeting of the Council, it is planned to discuss issues related to entrepreneurs' readiness to implement NASSP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles at food production enterprises and to the technical regulations of the EEU, the licensing system for foreign citizens and legal entities when purchasing housing, and to consider corruption risks and contradictions in the draft law on mediation submitted for public discussion.

Also, the participants of the meeting plan to discuss a bill that includes the introduction of such concepts as a student's contract, internship, vocational training and incentive mechanisms for their implementation, as well as amendments to the Law "On Customs Tariff", setting rates of export customs duties on ore and concentrates of precious metals, not less than 25% of the customs value of the goods, initiated by the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh.

Based on the results of the discussions, the Council will develop mechanisms for effective interaction and coordination of business and government bodies in solving current problems in the legislation.

Representatives of six factions and profile committees of the Jogorku Kenesh, ministries and departments, as well as business associations will take part in the meeting.

Chairman of the Council is Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Chynybai Tursunbekov.

The main task of the Council is to consolidate the potential of the business environment in the country, increase investment attractiveness, and promote entrepreneurship in Kyrgyzstan. This Council is a platform for the development of proposals and recommendations in legislation regulating business activities, monitoring and analysis of regulatory legal acts in the field of entrepreneurship.
