Bishkek, Nov. 23, 2017 / Kabar /. Chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulanbek Ryskulov took part in solemn ceremony of laying a capsule for the construction of a complex of a gold processing plant and a tailing dump at the Jerui gold deposit in Talas oblast, the press office of the State Committee reported.
The ceremony was attended by governor of Talas oblast Cholponkul Torokulov, Russian Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Andrei Krutko, akim of Talas region Bakytbek Nurzhanov, director general of the Russian Platinum company Yevgeny Vorobeichik, leadership of the Alliance Altyn LLC.
Speaking to the participants of the event, the chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use said that the development of Jerui deposit is one of the largest national projects that will have a great impact on the socio-economic development of Talas oblast the and the entire republic.
"The Jerui project will provide with jobs about 1 thousand local residents, and one job in the mining sector in turn provides with jobs for 5 more people in related industries, because geologists and miners must be fed, transported and dressed," Ryskulov said.
Ryskulov wished the company to complete the construction of the plant and the tailing dumps in time.
He particularly recalled that all work should be carried out in strict compliance with the legislation of Kyrgyzstan. "This is the main condition for the company to work long and fruitfully in Kyrgyzstan," said the Chairman of the State Committee.
The company plans to start gold mining in January 2019, and to complete the construction of the plant and tailings by March 2019.
