Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2017 / Kabar /. The agreement on conjugation of the Eurasian Economic Union and China within the framework of the project One Belt, One Road will be signed in early 2018, Deputy Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Almaz Sazbakov told Kabar Agency.
He said that today 5 rounds of talks have been completed and the sixth will be held soon.
"There are many experts working on the agreement. About 100 people from the Chinese side, from the part of the EEU, that is, from 5 countries and the Eurasian Economic Committee, are also about 100 people," he said.
Sazbakov said that Kyrgyzstan is a member of the Eurasian integration and a member of One Belt, One Road.
"And here it is important for us to preserve the role of the bridge. It is important for us to unite these two projects. The agreement between the EEU and China will encompass a wide range of issues, including customs regulation, public procurement, trade rules and regulations and various mechanisms of economic entities," the Deputy Minister of Economy said.
Almaz Sazbakov said that the agreement on conjugation would create a single and understandable base for technical regulation. That is, it will specify the common standards for all requirements.
