Chinese Public Security Ministry grants 1 bln yuan to State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, April 13 / Kabar /. Delegation of the Border Guard Service of the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China visited the Kyrgyz Republic from 10 to 13 April 2017, the press service of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.

During the visit, the leaders of the border departments of Kyrgyzstan and China met in Bishkek.

At the meeting Colonel Ularbek Sharsheev, Acting Chairman of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and Major General Chen Dingwu, Director of the Border Service of the Chinese Ministry of Public Security discussed border security issues at the joint border.

During the meeting, the sides noted the fruitful work of the parties in the field of combating transnational crime and in ensuring security and stability in the border areas and border crossings between the two states.

The border delegations of Kyrgyzstan and China agreed to continue work to strengthen and improve communication between border services, as well as conduct regular analysis of the situation in the border areas, exchange information and experience and continue joint patrolling of the state border.

During the meeting, it was decided to organize and conduct a joint anti-terrorist exercise. In addition, the Chinese side intends to continue active cooperation in the field of personnel training and providing military and technical assistance to the border department of Kyrgyzstan.

As a result of the meeting, the sides signed the deed of conveyance on handing over by the Chinese side of the technical means for the Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic for a total of 1 million yuan.
