Bishkek, Jan. 15, 2018. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov met today with children who lost their loved ones as a result of the crash of Boeing 747 cargo plane in the village of Dacha-Su in Chui oblast on Jan. 16, 2017, the president’s press service reported.
President Jeenbekov expressed his condolences and said that the grief for the victims on that tragic day has not ceased till now. "The whole country was grieving then. I once again express my deepest condolences," Jeenbekov said.
During the meeting, Venera Sheishenova, speaking on behalf of the victims, thanked the Kyrgyz people for their attention and sympathy, for the help they provided. "The victims worked closely with the government commission and no one of our questions, no problems remained unresolved. All money, including those collected by indifferent Kyrgyz citizens, was distributed in accordance with our proposals and wishes," Sheishenova said.
At the end of the meeting with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the children received gifts in the form of tablets.
It should be noted that special national and foreign currency deposit accounts were opened for the children who lost their parents, funds were allocated from a special account, opened by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Turkish side allocated compensation, which will be kept on their accounts until they reach the age of 18.
