In Feb. 13, the summit itself will be held, and in Feb. 14 a meeting will be held for the cities of Central Asia and CIS countries. The state agency for local self-government and interethnic issues is also interested in this work. "

Cooperation with WHO is the most important direction for the Kyrgyz Health Ministry department, Batyraliev told. He thanked WHO for supporting the 2030 health strategy, road safety, medicines, etc.

"It would be good if all our meetings would end with concrete conclusions and recommendations, which will be confirmed by our budgetary opportunities," the head of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health said. "We closely cooperate not only with WHO, but also with all partners, and we clearly understand the importance of assistance, which is aimed at the stability of democratic foundations in our country, “ stressed Batyraliev.

The WHO European Network Healthy Cities began its work in 1988 as a political, multidisciplinary and intersectoral initiative, directly cooperating with the cities of the European Region. It has become a leading political and strategic mechanism to support national and community-wide approaches, to increase participation and to promote empowerment of the population in order to improve health and well-being for all and reduce inequalities in health areas.
