Bishkek, May 24 / Kabar /. The 42nd meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies of the Special Services of the CIS member states has been held today in Bishkek.
The heads of the special services of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, participate in it as observers.
The participants of the meeting will focus on improving cooperation of CIS special services in the field of combating terrorism and cross-border organized crime.
They also will discuss ways to further improve the quality of information exchange with regard to persons involved in the functioning of transit channels for illegal migration through the territories of CIS members, as well departure of citizens of these countries to Syria and Iraq to participate in combat operations as part of international terrorist organizations.
