Bishkek, Feb. 12, 2018 / Kabar /. Opening of the Bishkek City Championship in Traditional Wushu is held today at the Seitek National Center for Children and Youth.
The championship is annually held by the Federation of Traditional Wushu of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Seitek National Center for Children's and Youth.
Traditional Wushu is a classical martial art that originated in China more than two thousand years ago. Traditional Wushu is a system of knowledge and exercises of combat, health and sporting character that allow children, youth and adults to engage in health promotion, to acquire applied self-defense skills, to expand the functional and energy capabilities of the organism, to achieve high sports results, to provide moral and spiritual opportunities grow.
Over 150 wushuists from 7 years old and over participate in the Bishkek City Championship.
