Bishkek, May 18 / Kabar /. First Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Muhammetkaly Abulgaziev participated in the 42nd meeting of the Islamic Development Bank in the city of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported.
Within the framework of the meeting, he held meetings with Vice President of the Islamic Development Bank Sayed Aga, Director for Operations of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development Marwan Al-Ghanem and representative of the OPEC Fund Fuad Al-Bazam.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasized that at the moment the country's Sustainable Development Strategy is being developed until 2040, within which a number of major economic projects are envisaged.
The sides discussed issues of cooperation in transport, energy, medicine, development of irrigation systems and providing the population with clean water. Arab entrepreneurs expressed interest in the implementation of the above projects. In addition, the Kyrgyz Government expressed a request to increase the share of the grant of Arab funds.
