Another meeting on demarcation of Uzbek-Turkmen state border held in Uzbekistan


Tashkent, Oct.7, 2019. /Kabar/. Regular meeting of the working groups of the Joint Uzbek-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission on the delimitation and demarcation of the state border between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan took place in Nukus city on Sept.30-Oct.6, 2019, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reported.

In the course of the meeting, the sides held a reading of normative-legal and technical documents of demarcation and agreed to submit them for approval by the Joint Uzbek-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission.

The meeting also included exchange of views on the issues of aerial photography on the joint border.

As a result of the talks, heads of delegations - First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Uzbekistan for Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre Tulkin Abdullayev and Head of Enterprise No.5 of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan Mamed Mamedov signed the corresponding Protocol.
