Bishkek, Oct.7, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Austria Bakyt Dzhusupov participated in the festive event, organized by diplomatic missions of Turkey and Uzbekistan on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTS), as well as Uzbekistan’s accession to the Organization.
Heads of the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan addressed the event as host parties, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
In his welcoming speech, Ambassador Dzhusupov informed the participants of the event about the results of Kyrgyzstan’s Chairmanship of the Turkic Council in the period from 2018 to 2019.
It was noted that during the Kyrgyz Chairmanship, Uzbekistan has became a full member of the Organization, and Hungary has received observer status. At the same time, the European Branch of the Turkic Council has been opened in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
In this regard, the Kyrgyz ambassador expressed the opinion that the CCTS member states have made a great step and a breakthrough in promoting the high ideals of the ancestors in the issue of integration and dissemination of Turkic culture around the world.
In conclusion, he wished success to the Azerbaijani side, which will assume the Chairmanship of the Turkic Council in October 2019.
