Bishkek, Feb.15, 2018 / Kabar /. The national headwear Ak Kalpak is proposed to be declared as a cultural symbol of the Kyrgyz people.
The corresponding bill was developed by the Government of the country in order to preserve, popularize and disseminate the intangible cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan.
Prime Minister, Sapar Isakov approved the draft law On giving the national headwear Ak Kalpak the status of a cultural symbol, and it is submitted to the Parliament for consideration.
Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan, Sultan Jumagulov will address the discussion of this project in the Parliament on behalf of the Government.
