Bishkek, Jan. 16, 2018. / Kabar/. 9,901 crimes were registered in Kyrgyzstan in 2017, 40% of which were committed in Bishkek, the press service of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs (Bishkek police) of the capital reported.

The number of registered crimes for the reporting period, according to the police, exceeded the figures of 2016 by 505 cases. At the same time, there was an increase in the number of crimes disclosed in hot pursuit - 1199.

Thus, in 12 months of 2017, the capital's police provided for the protection of public order and security at 580 various official events (sports, festive, arrival of delegations, etc.), as well as at 290 events (peaceful gatherings, actions, etc.)
