33 people from Kyrgyzstan’s Jalal-Abad oblast were killed in Syria and Iraq

Osh, Sept. 21, 2017 / Kabar/. According to preliminary data, 33 people from Jalal-Abad oblast were killed in conflict zones in Syria and Iraq. This became known today during the coordination council on ensuring public security, defense and emergency situations, which was held in Jalal-Abad oblast.

During the coordination council, the authorized officer of the State National Security Committee for the Jalal-Abad region, Erlan Myrzaev, reported that, according to preliminary data, 33 people from Jalal-Abad oblast were killed in conflict zones in Iraq and Syria. Special operations "Conditional terrorist" were held 31 times on the territory of the oblast for preventive purposes. In addition, events were held with staff and management of strategically important facilities to ensure security.

The Coordination Council also discussed issues related to ensuring public safety on the roads, where the governor in Jalal-Abad oblast, Kyianbek Satybaldiev instructed the relevant leaders to take all measures to ensure road safety, and have close cooperation of local government with the patrol police.
