Bishkek, Jan. 23, 2018 / Kabar /. Over the past year, the Bishkek Main Department of Internal Affairs (Bishkek police) blocked 32 Internet sites in connection with the threat of the spread of terrorism and extremism, chief of the Bishkek police colonel Stalbek Rakhmanov told.
In his opinion, in the fight against this problem an integrated approach is needed, and parents should be vigilant and watch what their children are addicted to.
"We cannot assign responsibility only to the police or only to teachers. Today we give all opportunities to children so that they can work on the Internet, but all the forbidden things are of interest. They begin to search for everything that is forbidden. In this case, the parent should be vigilant, also in case of threat to inform law enforcement bodies, teachers to jointly confront the problem," he said.
He added that policemen are constantly working to identify sites that can damage the psyche of children.
"We need to identify and block websites in a timely manner.
